Bio

Shauna is the author and illustrator of Big Middle Little. She is a born and raised Michigander with a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She recently stepped away from a career as an Emergency Medicine PA to raise her three sweet boys, who— you guessed it — were the inspiration for this book.

While deep in the chaos of mom life, she found a creative outlet in the world of digital art, and the cartoon versions of her sons were born! As they grew, she found they hilariously followed their birth order stereotypes, and the idea for the book came to life.  Creating these characters has brought her so much joy, and she hopes that their lovable personalities will bring others a few minutes of happiness to look forward to with every read.

Fun Fact: She is the oldest sibling in a family of three girls. Could there be a sisters book on the horizon? Stay tuned!
